Opportunity to contribute to "Gut Highlights" as an ambassador
As part of the BSG's commitment to our journals, we publish a regular 'Gut Highlights' which summarises the best content in Gut that is relevant to all BSG members, covering IBD, Hepatology, Endoscopy, HPB and Nutrition. To continue to deliver this for our members, we would like to offer a number of Gastroenterology doctors spanning specialist training to new consultant roles (IMT3 and above up to 5 years post CCT) the opportunity to develop these "Highlights from Gut" which will then be published on the BSG website and in newsletters.
If you are interested in this, please email Sonja Shackell [email protected] with a 250 word statement on your motivation to do this and why you think you are suitable, alongside an abbreviated 2-page CV by 5pm on 15th August 2025.
All those successful will be given the title of "BSG Gut Highlights Trainee Ambassador". The tenure is 2 years. A number of trainees will then be selected and work alongside the Gut Education Editor (Dr Philip Smith, who is also Editor in Chief of FG) to develop these highlights going forward.
Please see past editions of the Gut highlights here.
